POINT OF VIEWS within "The Kite Runner"

POINT OF VIEW
There are four main aspects to Point Of View, First Person, Third- Person Objective, Third- Person Limited and omniscient
" The Kite Runner" written in the first person point of view, is when a character in the story shares his thoughts and feelings as well as his/her opinion on what is happening. The narrator has no insight into others feelings or thoughts, what the narrator knows, the reader knows.

“ The Kite Runner”, is told in the form of first person point of view. The narrator is Amir, a young boy who tells the story of his life, his achievements, his failures, his sins and how he atoned for those sins.
The style or type of writing in this novel could be considered a journals memoir or even a life’s confession.
When reading the story, you get the feeling as though you are involved in Amir’s life and that you have been apart of his childhood, adolescence and adulthood.
